To guide enterprises on researching ways to realize low-carbon transition, six departments including the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, etc. recently issued Plan to Collect and Popularize National Key Low-carbon Technologies, mainly involving five types: 1) green transformation technologies applying to energy industry (e.g. technologies to develop and utilize renewable energy sources, advanced energy storage technologies, etc.); 2) carbon reduction technologies used in the areas of industry, construction, transportation, etc.; 3) carbon storage and sequestration technologies (e.g. CCUS technologies, etc.); 4) digital technologies (e.g. intelligent management technologies on greenhouse gas emissions, etc.); 5) technologies to lower emissions of non-CO2 greenhouse gases like methane, hydrofluorocarbons, etc.
