The Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MOEE) recently sought public opinions about revised Measures for Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances, which details revision contents that are implied in Evaluation and Control Regulations on Environmental Risks of Chemical Substances (Exposure Draft), the MOEE issued at the beginning of this year. Another significant event related to the environmental management of new chemical substances is that the MOEE issued a notice in June to supplement the List of Existing Chemical Substances in China.
