Wison (Group) and ICBC (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China) Tianjin Branch have reached a preliminary intent of cooperation in funding for the “Wison Tianjin Light Hydrocarbon Comprehensive Utilization Project”.

With a total investment of RMB19.3 billion, the project will include the construction of 1 000 kt/a ethylene cracker and supporting olefin derivatives processing plants. It will use propane as feedstock, focus on the research and development of high-end new materials, and introduce intelligent concept design in combination with advanced international technology and Wison’s own technology to realize green, high-end and differentiated production. The project will provide nine premium monomer feedstock, such as ethylene, propylene and butadiene (BD) for Nangang Industrial Park and strive to develop into the leading and demonstration company in the Park.
