Sinochem Group has kicked off the C3 and downstream high-performance materials industry chain project in Xuwei District, Lianyungang city of Jiangsu province. Covering an area of 1 700 Mu, the project has a total investment of RMB25.6 billion and is constructed by Jiangsu Ruiheng New Materials Technology Company. The first phase project will have an investment of around RMB16.2 billion, consisting of a 600 kt/a propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant, 650 kt/a phenol/acetone plant, 240 kt/a bisphenol A (BPA) plant, 400 kt/a propane oxide (PO) plant, 260 kt/a acrylonitrile (ACN) plant, 90 kt/a methyl methacrylate (MMA) plant, related public works and supporting facilities. The phase I project is planned to be completed by the end of 2021, realizing digital delivery and is designed to set up an intelligent plant model.
