Wanhua Chemical (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. has recently announced to invest around RMB371.04 million to build a 100 kt/a phase II water-based resin project. The project is designed to have 21 kt/a PUD capacity, 75.5 kt/a PA capacity and 3.5 kt/a acrylic hydroxyl dispersion capacity.    

Wanhua Chemical also plans to invest RMB1.36 billion to build a 250 kt/a high performance modified resin project in Meishan city of Sichuan province. To be located in Jinxiang Chemical Industrial Zone, the project will have 100 kt/a modified polypropylene (PP) resin capacity, 100 kt/a water-based resin capacity, 50 kt/a modified polycarbonate (PC) capacity, public and auxiliary facilities. The project will be constructed in 2019 and is planned to start up in 2020.
