Zhejiang Yisheng Petrochemical plans to implement a technical reform at its Phase II purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plants, which will switch to produce 300 kt of isophthalic acid (PIA) through a high temperature liquid phase process. Having a total investment of RMB350.85 million, the reform project includes four phases and will affect four PTA plants, with a combined 530 kt/a capacity, located at No. 8 Gangkou Road, Beilun District of Ningbo in Zhejiang, as well as supporting facilities, including tank areas, docks, loading facilities, public works and environmental protection facilities.
