On April 10, 2019 the Ministry of Commerce started investigating methionine originating from Singapore, Malaysia and Japan. The investigation covers dumping that allegedly occurred from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018 and industry injury that allegedly occurred from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2018. Generally, it will be finished by April 10, 2020, but it can be extended to October 10, 2020 in particular cases.
