On March 26, the signing ceremony for Jiangsu Jinmei Hengsheng New Chemical Materials Park was held in Xinyi city. 

This is an industrial upgrading initiative implemented by Hengsheng Company. The first-phase project includes the construction of a 400 kt/a synthetic ammonia unit, a 600 kt/a urea unit and a 47.8 kt/a sulphuric acid cogeneration unit, which can together realize a revenue of RMB2 billion and a profit tax of RMB460 million. The second-phase project produces 200 kt/a of mono-ethylene glycol (MEG), 150 kt/a of methanol, and products like dimethyl carbonate and polyols.
