The Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council decided to extend anti-dumping duties on nonyl phenol (NP) originating from India and Taiwan for another five years (beginning March 29, 2019), with tax rates of 12.22% for SI Group India Limited and 20.38% for the other firms of India; 6.87% for Formosan Union Chemical Corporation, 4.08% for China Man-Made Fiber Corporation, and 20.38% for the other firms of Taiwan. 

The decision was made according to an expiry review the Ministry of Commerce conducted on March 29, 2018. The five-year measures were firstly extended on March 29, 2013 after being conducted on March 29, 2007.
