Hengyi Brunei PMB petrochemical project has been progressing in an orderly manner. Over 90% of the project has been completed, including the procurement, civil engineering, comprehensive project design and the installation of steel structure. Equipment and pipeline installation is nearing completion. The east channel, No 6, No 7, No 8 wharfs, bulk terminal, coal terminal and chemical terminal have been put into use. Three oil terminals are about to be completed. 

The project will likely be put into test run on schedule in the second quarter of 2019 and achieve full-load operation within a short period of time to yield chemical products. The first-phase project, having 8 000 kt/a of oil refining capacity will realize an annual output value of RMB5.5 billion. The second-phase project has entered the stage of program demonstration.
