Jinneng Science and Technology has held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new materials and hydrogen energy comprehensive utilization project in Dongjiakou Economic Zone in the west coast of Qingdao New District. With a total investment of RMB20.3 billion, the project will include a 900kt/a propane dehydrogenation and 8 × 60kt/a green carbon black recycling project, 2 × 450kt/a high-performance polypropylene (PP) project, 900kt/a propane dehydrogenation/260kt/a acrylonitrile and 100kt/a methyl methacrylate (MMA) projects and feedstock storage project. The annual sales income is estimated at RMB30 billion after the project is completed and put into operation.
