CNPC’s Domestic Long-distance Crude Oil Pipeline Sets A Record of Annual Throughput

As of December 23 2018, the annual throughput of CNPC’s domestic long-distance crude oil pipeline adds up to 100.12 million tons, setting a record of beyond 100 million tons, which is expected to reach 102 million tons by the end of 2018.

To date, the operating mileage of CNPC’s domestic long-distance crude oil pipeline stretches to 10 000 kilometers, covering the national distribution of oil imported from Russia, Kazakhstan, Myanmar and offshore oil as well as oil from domestic Daqing Oilfield and PCOC. Meanwhile, it is tasked with crude oil provision for more than 20 refineries.

CNPC has successfully established 3 crude oil importing pipelines, namely China-Russia crude oil pipeline, Sino-Kazakhstan oil pipeline and China-Myanmar crude oil pipeline, by which, evolved into a domestic crude oil network consisting of 22 major crude pipelines and has succeeded in shifting from decentralization to centralization.
