China Commissions First DMDS Test Plant

Guanghui Energy Co., Ltd. announced on July 13 that a DMDS plant developed by its subsidiary Xinjiang Guanghui Luyou Sulfur Chemical has achieved on-spec product (purity: 99.74%) and has been started a test run.
The 40 000 t/a DMDS and 10 000 t/a DMSO co-production plant is the first DMDS test plant in China. It will completely solve the hydrogen sulfide treatment problems of Guanghui Energy’s Hami coal chemical plant, fill a gap in the company’s coal chemical business and bring new economic, social and environmental benefits.
