Wison Offshore & Marine Awarded Fabrication Contract of Modularized Cracking Furnace

On June 19, 2017, Wison Offshore & Marine announced that the company has been awarded a contract to fabricate modules for 9 sets of 200 000 t/a ethylene cracking furnaces for an integrated refining and petrochemical complex of Zhejiang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. in Zhejiang Province, east China. The cracking furnaces will become the world’s largest single cracking furnace that will be modularized and transported in its entirety. It is also the largest cracking furnace equipment in terms of production capacity in China to date.
Wison offshore & Marine will complete the fabrication work at its yard in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province. With the completion of its first-phase construction in 2013, Wison Zhoushan Yard covers nearly 1.5 million square meters and is well-equipped for the construction of large hulls, topsides and jackets, as well as modularized components for both offshore facilities and onshore large-scale industrial plants.
