China Investigates Dumping of Bisphenol A Imported from Thailand

China starts investigation on dumping of bisphenol A (BPA, HS code: 29072300) imported from Thailand, the Ministry of Commerce of China announced on March 6.
The investigation is to cover dumping that allegedly occurred during October 1, 2015 – September 30, 2016, and industry injury that occurred during January 1, 2013 – September 30, 2016.
BPA is used to produce epoxy resin, polycarbonate, polysulfone resin, unsaturated phenolic resin, polyetherimide, PVC heat stabilizer, plasticizer, rubber antioxidant, agricultural fungicide, paint and ultraviolet light absorber.
