Vertellus Announces Price Changes

Vertellus announces new pricing for Vitamin B3, effective April 1, 2017. Beginning April 1, 2017, the price for niacinamide (B3) manufactured by Vertellus will be 8.18 US$/kg, 7.73 Euro /kg in Europe, and RMB68 /kg in China for non-contract customers or as existing contracts allow.
The price increase is due to rising raw materials, transportation and energy costs.
In April 2017, Vertellus will complete upgrades at its B3 production facilities to include USP, food grade and feed grade Vitamin B3.
In conjunction with the increase in pricing for Vitamin B3, new pricing for 3 CP will also go into effect April 1. The new price will be RMB56/kg, and Beta Picoline will be RMB46/kg for non-contract customers or as existing contracts allow. The price increase is driven by rising costs for raw materials, transportation and energy.
