HBT Acquires Rare Earths Pigment Project from Solvay

At the end of 2016, in France, Baotou Hongbote Technology (HBT) completed the acquisition of rare earths green pigment project from Rhodia Operations, a unit of Solvay.
The acquisition covers main equipment for rare earths green pigment production as well as all intellectual property (IP), business secret, proprietary confidential knowledge, marketing know-how, customer information and sales network of the pigment.
After this successful acquisition, HBT also acquires the ownership of Neolor, another world well-known brand, associated with two intellectual properties for producing series products of rare earth sulfide pigment. After the introduction of this set of advanced equipment, the construction of the production line will be completed and put into operation in 2017.
