Mingtai Aluminum to Expand Aluminum Foil Capacity

On December 12, Henan Mingtai Aluminum Co., Ltd. (SH: 601677) announced that it intends to invest RMB50 million to establisha a wholly-owned subsidiary, which will specialize in aluminum plate/strip/foil, copper plate and copper foil.
The new subsidiary is to help Mingtai Aluminum expand its capacity to make aluminum foil, and raise its profitability.
Mingtai Aluminum is engaged mainly in the R&D, production and sales of aluminum plate and strip, aluminum profile related products, etc.
