Sinopec Guangzhou Put PP Project into Operation

On November 25, Sinopec Guangzhou Petrochemical Co., Ltd. started up the new polyethylene (PP) No.3 unit – 200 000 t/a high-performance PP project successfully. It can produce homo PP and co-PP.
The PP No.1 unit produces homo PP and atactic PP products for household appliances, toys, tubes applications, while the PP No.2 unit is suitable for thin injection products and fiber material. Moreover the PP No.3 unit focuses on producing block PP copolymer with the high ethylene content.
