Dow Offers New Solutions for Asia Pacific Agrochemical Adjuvants Market

Dow Crop Defense Solutions, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE:DOW), recently launched a series of agrochemical formulant products in the Asia Pacific market. In an effort to meet the formulating needs of the Agrichemical industry, Dow is bringing its advanced solutions to help boost the productivity of crops and forge sustainable development of local agriculture.
Dow Crop Defense Solutions is a newly launched business portfolio, which includes surfactants, amines, chelants and oxygenated solvents, and is backed by technical expertise, enabling Dow to provide customers with tools to increase the performance of agrochemicals be it an insecticide, herbicide or fungicide. Additionally, Dow’s technical support capabilities, strong feedstock position and growing R&D pipeline complement the existing product lines, enabling Dow to be a strategic formulation partner and sustainable solutions provider in the crop defense market.
Dow provides customized solutions to agrochemical formulators with a series of wetting agents, dispersants, foam control agents, emulsifiers as well as neutralizers, solvents, chelants, etc, for various formulation types, especially environmental friendly formulations, including SC (suspension concentrates), EW (emulsion in water), WDG (water dispersible granules) etc. The broad portfolio features various benefits such as low foaming, higher formulation stability, wide adaptability to active ingredient properties, as well as being APEO-free so that the formulations cause minimal impact on the environment.
