Multinationals Gained 80 New Pesticide Registrations in China in 2013

In 2013, the major multinational agrochemical companies received 80 new pesticide registrations, up 19% compared with 67 registrations of 2012 (including temporary and formal registrations), according to information of www.ICAMA.org.cn.
The registered pesticides cover 25 herbicides, 17 insecticides, 29 fungicides and 5 plant growth regulators (PGRs), 2 acaricides and 2 biopesticides. Syngenta gained the largest number of registrations with 16 products, followed by FMC(13), BASF(11), Dow AgroSciences (9) respectively. The registered fungicides are as follow:
