Bayer - CEIBS Chair in Leadership

On September 16, Bayer announced its continued cooperation with the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), establishing a new Chair in Leadership. Dr. Katherine Xin, a renowned academic specializing in leadership and organizational structure, will be the Chair Professor.
   The move is part of Bayer's long-term leadership development strategy in China, and it is anticipated that the results will prove valuable for both the company's operations in China and in its worldwide divisions. The new Chair is the most recent development in what has been a successful, long-term collaboration between the two parties. The partnership began in 1996 when Bayer began to support CEIBS with a five-year sponsorship. In January 2005, Bayer further supported CEIBS with a ten-year (2005 – 2015) sponsorship that commenced with the Bayer Chair in Health Care Management, which was later renamed the Bayer Chair in Strategy and Marketing.
