BASF Provides Resource Saving Textile Solutions for Chinese Market    

BASF presents a range of textile solutions under the theme "Putting *Future into Textiles. BASF - Your partner for resource saving and quality improvement" at China Interdye 2011 in Shanghai from April 26 to 28.

A leap in resource saving and quality improvement
BASF CPB Bleach: This forms the foundation for top quality pretreatment and improves the right first time for the subsequent process. This process can achieve a consistently high degree of whiteness, absence of husks, better degree of desizing and good fabric absorbency, while saving time and cost. To reach full white or when handling sensitive fabrics, it can be combined with a short hot bleach.
   BASF ECO Printing System: A high quality and eco-friendly printing system, it helps fabrics achieve vivid, delicate printing quality, soft handle and outstanding fastness. It can significantly shorten the process by reducing the steaming process and complicated washing process with hot and cold water. Therefore, it effectively saves water, energy and cost while reducing the impact on the environment during the printing process. In addition, the system offers time-saving, simple and convenient process control method.

Eco-efficient solutions
BASF Soaping Agent Dekol R RSA: This is a unique soaping agent suitable for all reactive dyed cellulosic substrates. Dekol R RSA reduces the consumption of water and energy, processing time, overall process cost in comparison to the conventional system, thus contributing to resource saving and climate protection.
   Due to its energy saving and carbon footprint reduction potential, the product has been selected for inclusion in the "4th China dyeing  and  printing industry advanced technology commendatory catalogue" - a catalogue published by the China Dyeing and Printing Association.
    BASF Color Fast Finish: It is a process of dyeing and finishing which enables impregnation, drying and curing to be done in a single step. In the conventional method of dyeing PES/cotton blend, polyester (PES) and cotton have to be dyed separately before going to finishing. Now, with BASF Color Fast Finish, these can all be done in one step. The total processing time is considerably shortened compared to the conventional process, reducing water and energy consumption which results in a smaller carbon footprint.

BASF Resin Finishing System: A high-performance finishing technology gives textiles an outstanding look and feel, such as the non-iron and easy care finishing applied on apparel and home textiles. Textiles treated by non-iron finishing require no ironing and offer textiles which provide high comfort. They also have excellent shape retention, optimal wash and wear performance. Moreover, the textiles will look new for a longer time. Textiles treated by easy care finishing are less prone to wrinkling, keep their shape without stretching or shrinking, have a soft, comfortable handle and are easy to iron.
