300 000 T/A Soda Ash Project Kicked Off in Anhui   

Anhui Hefei Hongsifang, Jiangsu Zhenjiang Salt Chemical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China National Salt Industry Corporation (CNSIC), held an opening ceremony of soda ash plant installation at Heifei Circular Economy Demonstration Park, Hefei, Anhui province on January 3rd, 2011. As a key section of CNSIC Hefei Chemical Base, soda ash project was the third taking-off sub project of synthetic ammonia series, and it also marks a remarkable success for CNSIC development. The total RMB400 million was laid out in the first phase of the  project, totally occupying 6667 square meters area combined with annual capacity of 300 000 tons as well as 600 000 tons in phase two of the project.
    An official from CNSIC showed that the synthetic ammonia project series by CNSIC, a total investment of RMB3.2 billion, was expect to accomplish before June, 2012, while current 400 000 t/a compound fertilizer has almost completed construction and would start operation-trial before this February. Meanwhile, the synthetic ammonia project, output up to 280 000 t/a, processed well since opening date that on September 30th, 2010, and will enter a full installation in March of this year.
