Huajin Completed Commissioning on ABS Project   

CNGC Liaoning Huajin Chemical Industry Group Co Ltd reported that it has conducted wet commissioning on the first line of 140 000 t/a acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) project on November 8th. Intermediate product polystyrene particle materials are made from the new production line. Qualified ABS resin is expected to be produced soon.
   The project is designed to have two lines with construction began in July 2009. Total investment was RMB1.15 billion. Commissioning on line two is planned at the end of November. DOW has licensed its technology to Huajin for this project.
