Michelin Broke Ground New Tire Plant in Shenyang    

On November 21st, 2010 French tire giant Michelin Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for constructing a US$1.46 billion plant at Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Liaoning province. The new plant is planned to be capable of producing 10 million sedan and light-duty truck tires and 1.8 million coach tires per year, to be started up in 2014. All products will be high-performance and environment-friendly tires. Upon its completion, Michelin's production capacity in China will reach 17 million sedan and light-duty truck tires and 1.8 million coach tires per year.
