Haobang Chemical to Start Caustic Soda Project   

Shandong Haobang Chemical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shandong Dadi Salt Chemical Group, got ready to construct a 300 000 t/a caustic soda project (first phase of 600 000 t/a project) in Shouguang, eastern China's Shandong province, close to the production site of Shandong Haihua Group Co., Ltd., the country's leading soda producer. Recently the local government was conducting environmental impact assessment on this project. The company has completed biddings for main equipment of the project that will use world's advanced ionic membrane caustic soda technology.
