Beiyuan Inaugurates PVC Project    

Shaanxi Beiyuan Chemical Industry Group Co Ltd announced that its 500 000 t/a polyvinyl chloride unit outlet qualified product on November 10th, representing successful startup of the phase one project. (CCR2010 No.18)
   The company began trial production in September. The new factory produced acetylene from calcium carbide on November 1st, liquid chloride and hydrochloric acid on November 2nd.
   The 1 million t/a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) recycle comprehensive utilization project was planned for completion in July 2011.
