Polysilicon Project Is in Progress    

Sanmenxia Dijiu Mining Industry Co., Ltd. is building its polysilicon project in Sanmenxia, Henan province. This October, the company held a ceremony for handing over equipment together with German Schmid Silicon Technology.
   The Sanmenxia plant is designed to produce 7 000 tons of polysilicon per year, with an investment of RMB1.1 billion. Construction on the first phase 1 000 t/a polysilicon unit was started in June 2009 with due operation in 2011.
   In addition, Schmid Silicon Technology has signed strategic and long term cooperation agreements with the three Chinese companies Guodian Electronics Group, Sanmenxia Dijiu Mining and DMEGC Group. The agreements span investments throughout the whole value chain of the photovoltaic solar starting from polysilicon production, solar wafer, solar cell to solar module.
