Beijing Gas to Build Coal-Based Gas Plant in Inner Mongolia    

Beijing Gas Group Co., Ltd., under Beijing Enterprises Group Co., Ltd. inked an agreement with Hohhot Municipal Government in Inner Mongolia region on October 16th, under which both sides will jointly build a coal-based gas plant.
   The proposed gas project is designed to produce 4 billion cubic meters of gas per year in the first phase, to meet growing demand in the Beijing area through pipeline. And it can be expanded in a second stage with market conditions.
   The RMB30 billion gas plant is located at Tuoketuo Industrial Park, Hohhot. Currently gas needed in Beijing is offered mainly by Changqing Oilfield and partially by Huabei Oilfield. The Hohhot gas plant will ensure gas supply for the Beijing market.
