Shanghai Chlor-Alkali Involving Glycerine to ECH Pilot    

Shanghai Chlor-Alkali Chemical Company Limited (Shanghai Chlor-Alkali, SH: 600618) recently announced completion of pilot using glycerine to make epichlorohydrin (ECH). China's production of glycerine has grown fast with price going down sharply. Therefore using glycerine to produce ECH will lead all other processes.
   Shanghai Chlor-Alkali started the research in 2009. This process has been developed well in the developed world but is not mature in China.
