CSPC Completed Expansion   

Wison Engineering (China) Company Limited has completed construction of a 120 000 t/a ethylene cracker for CNOOC and Shell Petrochemical Company Limited (CSPC) in April. CSPC has accepted the construction and started wet commissioning on June 10th. Therefore, the ethylene capacity of CNOOC and Shell Petrochemical Company Limited (CSPC) has been expanded to 950 000 t/a from existing 800 000 t/a. Now the new cracker runs well.
   This plant is located at Daya Bay Petrochemical Zone, Huizhou of Guangdong province. CSPC's capacities to produce ethylene oxide/ethylene glycol and styrene/propylene oxide are also increased. According to CSPC, this expansion made its total petrochemicals capacity increase by 400 000 t/a to 2.7 million t/a.
