PetroChina Completed Two Projects    

On June 21st PetroChina Liaoyang Petrochemical Company completed capacity expansion of ethylene oxide by constructing a new 50 000 t/a unit based on the existing 200 000 t/a unit. The company started wet commissioning on the additional 50 000 t/a unit in July.
     On June 30th PetroChina Urumqi Petrochemical Company completed construction of a 1 million t/a para-xylene/aromatic hydrocarbon integration unit, representing that the world's largest aromatic hydrocarbon unit entered the stage of trial production.
   With a total investment of RMB3.7 billion, this unit integrates eight production facilities. UOP's two technologies are used.
