Three Projects Launched in Tiandong      

Recently a groundbreaking ceremony was held at Guangxi Tiandong Petrochemical Industrial Park, Guangxi region of southern China for three chemical projects of Guangxi Ruitai Chemical Co Ltd, Guangxi Shengya Technology Co Ltd and Guangxi Jinsheng Industrial and Trade Co Ltd, respectively.  
   Guangxi Ruitai Chemical Co Ltd constructs a dicalcium phosphate project with a investment budget of RMB60 million. The project can make use of the waste hydrochloric acid discharged by Guangxi Tiandong Jinsheng Chemical Co Ltd's 200 000 t/a PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and 200 000 t/a caustic soda project in the same park, which came on stream in April 2009. (CCR2009 No.15)  The dicalcium phosphate project is designed to create 200 jobs.
   Guangxi Shengya Technology Co Ltd launched a 50 000 t/a chlorinated paraffin project in the park, which will cost RMB88 million. This project also matches with Guangxi Tiandong Jinsheng Chemical Co Ltd's chlor-alkali project.  
   Guangxi Jinsheng Industrial and Trade Co Ltd invests RMB30 million to construct a 50 000 t/a electrode paste project in the park.
   Three projects are all planed for startup at the end of 2010.
