Jinchuan Began Production of Caustic Soda    

Jinchuan Group Ltd held a ceremony on June 30th to inaugurate production of a 200 000 t/a ionic membrane caustic soda project and a 60 000 t/a copper pipe/rod project at its third factory site in the Advanced Materials Industry Park, Jinchang of Gansu province. The copper pipe/rode project has an investment of RMB1.49 billion, including four lines. Construction on the RMB3.01 million caustic soda project has been completed in November 2009.   This leading nickel and copper group, which owns 5.5 million tons of nickel reserve and 3.43 million tons of copper reserve, has achieved a sale revenue of over RMB50 billion.
