Huajin Constructs Urea Project in Xinjiang    

On June 10th CNGC Liaoning Huajin Chemical Industry Group Co Ltd (Huajin) started construction on a 450 000 t/a synthetic ammonia and 800 000 t/a urea project in Kuche, Xinjiang region, western China. This RMB540 million project is scheduled for startup in 2011.
    Huajin had constructed a 450 000 t/a urea unit in the same site, which began operation in February 2006. Now the company has a urea capacity of 1.1 million t/a.
