Longjiang to Start up Calcium Carbide Project    

Heihe Longjiang Chemical Company Ltd's 300 000 t/a calcium carbide project got ready to start up in July. The construction is contracted by Baosteel Group Corporation. Now all basic constructions have been completed and the engineering contractor began to install equipments.
   Located in Heihe of Heilongjiang province, Heihe Longjiang Chemical Company Ltd aims to develop a complete chemical production chain with 300 000 t/a calcium carbide unit, 280 000 t/a vinyl acetate unit, 140 000 t/a polyvinyl alcohol unit etc.
