BSI and EDC Partner on Low Carbon Products Certification     

On March 2nd, BSI Group signed a MOU on low carbon products certification with Environment Development Center (EDC) of the Ministry of Environment Protection (MEP). The project aims at changing consumers' behavior in an effort to encourage Chinese enterprises to invest in low carbon technology. Both sides agree the project would develop into part of bilateral cooperation between China and UK in the field of developing low carbon economy.
    Under the MOU, BSI would assist EDC to develop low-carbon products standards and also help EDC to boost the study of low carbon product verification and promote the low carbon production model and consumption pattern.
