Dow to Add Capacity for Wind Energy in China

On September 8th, Dow Formulated Systems, a global business unit of The Dow Chemical Company (Dow), announced it is going to add capacity in China and in North America for its Wind Energy customers. The announced investment will specifically increase Dow Formulated Systems' capacity for Infusion in China, and for Adhesives in North America.
"Particularly in China and the Asia Pacific region, this capacity expansion helps us to further enhance our ability to be closer to our customers with local production," remarked Kenneth Chan, Asia Pacific Commercial Manager for the Alternative Energy & Composites business of Dow Formulated Systems.
Further capacity expansion in other products and geographies will be evaluated at a later stage by the company's leadership.
