Shenmu Adds A Flake Caustic Soda Factory    

On August 26th, Shenmu Far-Dimensional Chemical Co Ltd announced the normal operation of a 100 000 t/a flake caustic soda unit in Shenmu Jinjie Industrial Park, Shenmu county of Shaanxi province, which is the first phase of the 300 000 t/a caustic soda project. This project, attaching to the 1 million t/a polyvinyl chloride project of Shaanxi Beiyuan Chemical Industry Group, will have a total investment of RMB300 million.  
   The phase one uses the technology and equipment imported from Switzerland. Construction on the phase two with a capacity of 200 000 t/a will be started soon and competed at the end of 2012.
