PetroChina and Henan Coal Cooperate in Coalbed Methane Business     

PetroChina Coalbed Methane Co., Ltd. signed a coalbed methane cooperative agreement with Henan Coal Chemical Group Company Ltd. on August 2nd.
   Under the agreement, both sides will cooperate to extract coalbed methane in the coal mines under Henan Coal Chemical Group. The partnership will combine the leading technology in coalbed methane field of PetroChina with coal and coalbed methane resources of Henan Coal Chemical Group, to form a demonstrative partnership platform between the coalbed methane specialized dedicator and coal group and raise utility of coalbed methane in the Chinese market.
   PetroChina Coalbed Methane, formed September 2008 by PetroChina Company Ltd, focuses on exploration and development of coalbed methane.
