Jialong PTA Project to Come on Stream    

Jialong Petrochemical Fiber (Shishi) Co Ltd's 600 000 purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant in Shishi, Fujian province has run smoothly since conducting wet commissioning in April and will come on line officially before the end of this year.
    Construction on this project was started in May 2007 and completed in April this year. Now the plant can produce 1 800 tons of PTA every day in the July trial production. The company source disclosed that construction on the phase two 1.1 million t/a PTA unit will be started before the end of 2010.
