Pingmei & Lantian Launched NMF Project       

Pingmei & Lantian Chemical Co., Ltd. (Pingmei & Lantian) announced a foundation has been laid  in Suiping, Henan province in early December for the construction of a 20 000 t/a N-methyl formamide (NMF) project.
   The project is invested by Henan Huitong Chemical Co., Ltd., and is scheduled to be constructed in two phases - the first phase has an investment of RMB32 million, and the 2nd phase RMB20 million. It will annually consume 4 000 tons of liquid ammonia and 15 000 tons of methanol both provided by Pingmei & Lantian and will in turn provide hydrogen generated in the NMF manufacturing process to Pingmei & Lantian for synthesizing synthetic ammonia.
   NMF is a kind of important organic chemical material and intermediate, and it is a kind of organic solvent with better performance. It is widely used in the fields of pharmaceuticals, dying and painting, spice and etc.
