Anhui Guangxi Launches Caustic Soda Project    

On December 27th, 2009 Anhui Guangxin Agrochemical Co., Ltd. (AGA) held a ceremony to celebrate the groundbreaking of its 300 000 t/a caustic soda project in Xiangyu Chemical Park, Dongzhi, Anhui province.
   AGA, built in 1993, is China's leading manufacturer of pesticides technical. It is also capable of producing pharmaceutical intermediates and phosgene chemicals. To extend its production chain, AGA plans to construct five projects in Xiangyu Chemical Park with a total expenditure of RMB3 billion in six years. Other four projects are 15 000 t/a o-phenylenediamine project, 20 000 t/a phosgene series products project, 200 000 t/a nitrobenzene projects and 20 000 t/a glyphosate project.
