Wuhan Inorganic Salt Chemical Plant Starts Relocation   

On December 18th Wuhan Inorganic Salt Chemical Plant held a ceremony to start relocation from the current site in Wuhan downtown to Zuoling Chemical Cluster Park, Hongshan district of Wuhan, Hubei province in central China.
   A budget of RMB500 million was planned for the relocation. The plant will construct in the new site 200 000 t/a capacity to produce sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP), special purpose phosphoric acid and other phosphates.
   Before relocation, the plant was an important exporter of Hubei province and one of the largest phosphates producers in China, was capable of producing 150 000 t/a phosphoric acid, 100 000 t/a STPP, 10 000 t/a sodium pyrophosphate, 5 000 t/a di-sodium dihydrogen pyrophosphate, (mono-, di- and tri-) sodium phosphate, 10 000 t/a hydrogen peroxide. Its existed site is close to citizen communities.
