Yanzhou Coal Forms Subsidiary in Inner Mongolia to Expand Coal Chemical Business   

On December 23rd, 2009 Yanzhou Coal Mining Company Limited officially formed a fully owned subsidiary Yanzhou Coal Mining Erdos Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. in Erdos of Inner Mongolia.
   The new company will initiate a 1.8 million t/a coal-to-methanol plant and methanol converting into olefins facility in Erdos. The project phase I is planned to have 600 000 t/a methanol facility and two coal mines.
   The coal-related leading group in China acquired Australia Felix Resources at the end of 2009.
