Pengwei Petrochemical Starts up 600 000 T/A PTA Project     

Chongqing Pengwei Petrochemical Company Ltd (Pengwei Petrochemical) recently commenced production of its 600 000 t/a PTA (purified terephthalic acid) project in Fuling of Chongqing Municipality.
  With a total investment of around RMB2.5 billion, construction on the project was started in September 2007.
    Pengwei Petrochemical is a subsidiary of East Hope Group. East Hope Group headquartered in Pudong of Shanghai, is China's super large private enterprise mainly engaged in businesses of feed, chemicals and investing.
