Tianfu Chemical Starts up 5 000 T/A 1,6-Hexanediol Unit     

On November 26th, 2009 Fushun Tianfu Chemical Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Tianfu Chemical) commenced production of its 5 000 t/a 1,6-hexanediol unit in Fushun, Liaoning province.
    At present, Tianfu Chemical has completed the preparation work for construction of 20 000 t/a 1,6-hexanediol project, and plans to complete the construction in 2011.
    Tianfu Chemical is a subsidiary of Longyi Group. Longyi Group is a petrochemical enterprise encompassing technology, industry and trade, and major products in the company include base oil, lubricant, batching oil, cerate, sulfonate, vaseline and antifreezing fluid, etc.
