Myanmar-China Crude Pipeline Wharf Project    

On October 31st, construction of the Myanmar-China crude pipeline wharf project was commenced. China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) announced in a statement on November 3rd.
   The Myanmar-China crude pipeline wharf is seated at Kyaukryu port, the central part of the west coast of Myanmar.
   The 771 kilometer-long Myanmar-China crude pipeline is designed to have a total crude transmission capacity of 22 million tons per year, extending from Kyaukryu port to Ruili of China's Yunnan province. The first phase will has capability of delivering 12 million tons of crude per year.
   The construction work of the Myanmar-China crude pipeline is expected to start in 2010, a source from CNPC says.
   An industrial insider said that the Myanmar-China crude pipeline will increase a new access of crude sources and ensure the domestic crude supply security.
