Chuzhong Launched MAP and Sulfuric Acid Projects in Hubei     

On October 28th, 2009 Hubei New Chuzhong Fertilizer Co., Ltd., which was established by Zhongxiang Chuzhong Phosphorus Chemical Co., Ltd. at Dayan Industrial Park in Yicheng of Hubei province in July 2009, broke ground for the construction of its first phase 200 000 t/a sulfuric acid and 200 000 t/a monoammonium phosphate (MAP) project.
   The first phase project has an investment of RMB150 million, and is scheduled to go on stream in September 2010. The second phase is planned to have an initial investment of RMB450 million, and includes 200 000 t/a sulfuric acid and 200 000 t/a diammonium phosphate and 300 000 t/a compound fertilizer.
